The San Francisco based wine retailing web-site WINE.COM reported that wines with twist-off closures accounted for 17.5 percent of its wine sales for the year ending May 31, which were approximately $40 million overall.This transformation appears to be more than just a trend, as the “screw-caps” have dominated this years list of Wine Savant's “WINES THAT ROCK for Summer”.
